A Relaxing Riverside Garden

The client wanted to create a series of spaces throughout the garden for different times of day. The site is a restful, tranquil space with water on two sides and existing mature trees, and therefore a key element was to enhance the riverside setting and create new garden spaces whilst ensuring a light touch so the main event - the river - could continue to shine! We have included a main terrace attached to the house, a dining space near the point where the water meets at the end of the property, a sun spot for enjoying dappled sunlight, a spot for watching the swans whilst having a cup of tea, and a frameless glasshouse on the side of the property so the river can still be enjoyed in any weather. New multi-stem trees will add to the feeling of privacy, and planting will add to the dreamy feeling of the space
